Experiencing life is the adventure
Anne's films are built on a simple premise: people are funny, terrifying, and deeply lovable — often all at once. From the zombie rom-com of Accidental Zombie to the feminist horror of Hannah Goes to Hell, every project starts with a character who is just trying to get through the day.
Her productions are known for their ensemble casts, practical effects, and a refusal to take themselves too seriously — even when the stakes are life and death.

How We Got Here
Anne was raised with her brother Jeff in Turkey and Yemen by Peace Corps parents who encouraged her vivid imagination, as well as her love of animals, babies, books, writing and storytelling.
Anne's fascination with human behavior and her caretaking nature led her to a first career as an Art Therapist, during which time she worked with military personnel and teenagers on inpatient psychiatric wards, and then with unhoused dual diagnosis adults.
Becoming a mother to her three sons remains her proudest accomplishment in life, and after giving birth to them Anne found herself in Southern California, like many others, bitten by the acting bug. A few years into her acting career, Anne decided to try her hand behind the camera, and immediately fell in love with directing and producing. No matter how difficult it gets, her love for making movies never wanes, and even during the many years when she was teaching middle and high school full time to support herself and her kids as a single mom, Anne still produced and directed as many films as she could.
When Anne first started Lunatic Fringe Productions it was in collaboration with her close friend Erynn Dalton, now the CEO of Infinite Abyss Productions, who is also a film director and producer. In 2004 they made their first film — Curtiss-n-Ckandy — together, and all these years later they are making plans to work together again, so keep an eye out for what they are cooking up!
Life hasn't always been easy for Anne, but it has always been a grand adventure, and she is perpetually ready to start her day with her sleeves rolled up and her feet in the stirrups, armed with a knack for organization and talking people into joining her on her crazy adventures, an absolute can-do attitude, and most importantly — a sense of humor.
Anne currently lives on the west coast of the United States with her husband Danny and their dog Boosie.
